Dr. Kristen Burris, (doctor of acupuncture with a specialization in Chinese herbal medicine), graduated with the highest academic distinction of summa cum laude from Pacific College of Health and Science. It is one of the most well respected TCM medical schools in the United States, formerly called Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego.

Dr. Burris is an award-winning TCM doctor in the field of women’s holistic health including: infertility, miscarriage, pregnancy supportive care, hormonal imbalances, menopause, menstrual pain, heavy bleeding and challenging menstrual irregularities. Dr. Burris has been a guest lecturer at San Diego Hospice, University of California San Diego Integrative Clinic, UCSD Dental Acupuncture Study, Reproductive Nurses Society and Resolve, the non-profit supporting couples with infertility. Dr. Kristen Burris, DAcCHM has taught students acupuncture and auricular (ear) acupuncture at her alma mater in San Diego.
Dr. Burris receives referrals from OBGYN's, midwives, and fertility centers throughout the U.S. to prepare patients and surrogates prior to starting IVF. Dr. Burris has co-treated patients with IVF doctors to prepare the patients months in advance for IVF and also before, during, and after embryo transfers at the leading infertility centers in San Diego, California. IVF doctors have sent their wives to Dr. Burris for TCM infertility treatments and supportive care during their pregnancies. OBGYN’s have chosen Dr. Burris for their female and male factor infertility treatments and were able to avoid IVF themselves.
