In our practice, when evaluations are tracked we have a 71-92% success rate within the first year of treatment. There are so many variables from female factor, male factor, unknown factor, IVF, IUI support, all natural treatment, history of miscarriage, and age is always a concern. 39-58% Success Rate with each subsequent year of treatment thereafter. For those under 40 years old, on average, only 5% of our couples need to be referred out for IVF. These averages change daily depending on what new cases we get.

Typically, those who require more than one year of treatment are women and men in their 40’s but age isn't the only factor to consider and sometimes younger couples need treatment longer as well. Studies have shown over a 12 month period women are “twice as likely, in 1/3 of the time, to get pregnant using Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine compared to In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) or Fertility Drugs.” Many patients get pregnant in the first 2-9 months. Rarely does a patient get pregnant in the first month of treatment (only 9.6% of the time on average).

Dr. Burris, DAcCHM was told by seven different OBGYN's over several years time, that she would probably never have children or would need IVF. She pursued the TCM medicine she now practices and was able to have two children from all natural medicine.
